The ICs of Italy and Spain triumph at the 2025 Potter Cup and Two Presidents’ Cup

The 52nd Potter Cup and 8th Two Presidents’ Cup were held in Barcelona from 15–18 October 2025 across the courts of Real Club de Polo de Barcelona and Real Club Tenis Barcelona 1899, hosted by the International Club of Spain.

Nine IC nations took part: Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Spain and the USA. Over three days of high-quality, competitive tennis, teams played in excellent spirit and sportsmanship in both events.

In the Potter Cup, the final was contested between Italy and Spain, with Italy emerging as champions. The final standings were:

  1. Italy
  2. Spain
  3. USA
  4. Germany
  5. Great Britain
  6. Belgium
  7. France
  8. Ireland

In the Two Presidents’ Cup, Spain faced Germany in the final and claimed victory. The final rankings were:

  1. Spain
  2. Germany
  3. Italy
  4. Great Britain
  5. France
  6. USA
  7. Ireland
  8. Czech Republic

A full social programme complemented the tennis, which included a welcome dinner at the RC Polo Panoramic Restaurant, a special tennis clinic with participants of the Acell Federation programme, a dinner at the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona 1899 and finally the prizegiving and official gala dinner at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona. Excellent organisation, transport, accommodation and on-site services ensured a memorable week combining competitive tennis, international friendship and outstanding hospitality in true IC tradition.
