Argentina qualify for the 2023 IC Rod Laver Junior Challenge final

The Rod Laver IC Junior Challenge South American Qualifying round was hosted by the IC of Chile in Santiago at Valle Escondido Country Club, at the end of October 2022. The club setting and infrastructure are unique, in the hidden valley of one of the mountains on the outskirts of Santiago.

The qualifying was closely contested by Argentina, Chile and Uruguay and due to the exciting round robin format, the result was decided in the last match of the day, with Argentina beating Chile to secure their place in the Worldwide finals.

Around the competition there were dinners, sportsmanship awards and philanthropic tennis clinics. To find out more, please read the full match report here.

Special thanks go to the members of the IC of Chile, who invested their time and effort in making this event such a great success and one that the juniors will remember.
